ALA recognised courses

The following courses are the only ones that have been submitted for review and recognition by the ALA.  The providers of these courses have demonstrated they meet the ALA Lymphoedema Course Guidelines requirements as listed in Appendix 7 of the NLPR Guidelines.  This means that health practitioners and consumers can be assured that graduates of these courses have attained sufficient skills and knowledge to be recognised as ALA Accredited Practitioners.

Health practitioners considering specialising in lymphoedema management are advised that undertaking an ALA recognised course is the only pathway to ALA Accredited Practitioner status. The ALA does not recognise courses retrospectively.

The ALA does not make any representations as to the quality of the courses provided by the private course providers. Individuals should contact the private providers themselves in this regard. Queries regarding prerequisites, fees, and availability of individual courses should be directed to the course provider.
