The ALA Board is responsible to members for the overall performance of the organisation, providing leadership, strategic direction and overseeing the day-to-day operations.  A diverse range of backgrounds, skills and ideas is necessary to have a high functioning Board, as is a passion for contributing to the future success of the organisation and the community which we serve.

Keen to learn more?  Whether you are considering nominating now or in the future, we invite you to join our information session on Wednesday 10 March at 7.30pm AEDT when we will 'Demystify the role of the ALA Board'.  We'll discuss eligibility, what skills are needed, what you'll learn from being an ALA Board member, and potential pathways to becoming a ALA Board member if you feel you are not yet ready.
