Registration
Before you register, please check the program to view session availability. There are plenty of places for Saturday day registrations however concurrent session availability is limited for Friday and Sunday.
For the first time the 2021 Symposium will be moving to a hybrid delivery which means – more choice and flexibility. This means that if you are unable to travel, you can still watch the Saturday plenary sessions virtually and follow the program live.
The recordings for the Saturday plenary sessions will be available on-demand to all registration types until 28 June 2021. On demand access is available to full registrations, day registrations both face to face and virtual.

Business Events Grant
We are delighted that the 2021 ALA Symposium being held at Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Gold Coast has been approved for a grant through the Business Events Grant program. The program is part of the $1 billion Relief and Recovery Fund providing assistance to industry sectors, regions and communities affected by the economic impacts of COVID-19.
The Business Events Grants program is supporting Australian businesses by providing grants between $10,000 and $250,000. Grant funding will cover up to 50% of costs incurred in participating at pre-approved business to business events as buyers or sellers during the 2021 calendar year. You can apply if you have a minimum of $20,000 in total eligible project expenditure.
Businesses can apply for multiple events per application or submit multiple applications for events on the Schedule, however they can only receive up to a maximum of $250,000 per entity. If an event is cancelled in 2021 due to COVID-19, then the grant will be used to fund the non-refundable costs up to the value of the grant.
The program is designed to support delegates that are buying or selling to participate in ‘business events’.
Close date for submission is: 30 March 2021 05:00 PM AEDT.
